Adnkronos is a multichannel information and communication press agency, which has its headquarters in Rome.
It was founded in 1963 after a merger of two press agencies: Kronos, founded by Pietro Nenni in 1951, and Adn (Agenzia Di Notizie) created in 1959 by Amintore Fanfani.
Since 1999 Adnkronos S.p.A. has been controlled by the Giuseppe Marra Communications group.
It is an information engine, powered by the agency’s news, operating on different platforms: web, radio, analogue and digital satellite TV, outdoor TV, citizen journalism and user interaction systems.
It produces over 1,600 news items and 30 videos a day. The channel Adnkronos International collects news in 3 languages (Italian, English and Arabic) on major issues. Adnkronos International ranks third place in the world.
Adnkronos is able to create informative content in different formats (text, video, audio and multimedia) for all media. The objective is to reach not only professionals but also ordinary people through every channel and by using as many ways available as possible.
It registers over 2 million unique users a month that connect to the website; more than 3 million viewers a day connected to the 140 local broadcasters of TV networks and over 6 million of listeners a day connected to the network’s radio stations. More than 500,000 people have subscribed to the Group’s social networks (among them, there are more than 146,000 fans on Facebook and more than 350,000 followers on Twitter).
FpS Media dealt for many years with the creation of video services covering events: shooting, editing, writing pieces and speeches.
