Presidency of the Council of Ministers

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers is the structure used by the President of the Council of Ministers to carry out promotion, address and coordination functions.

The organization of the Presidency takes into account the necessity to ensure the unity of the political and administrative addressing of Government.

The President makes use of the Presidency for performing the following functions: management and relations with the government’s collegial body; relations between the Government and Parliament and other constitutional bodies; relations between the Government and European institutions; relations between the Government and the autonomous system, relations between the Government and religious communities, design of general policies and decisions regarding general political addressing; coordination of the Government’s legislative activities, coordination of the Government’s administrative activity and functionality of internal control systems; promotion and coordination of equal opportunity policies and the Government’s actions for the prevention and removal of discrimination; coordination of institutional communication activity, information activity; promotion and verification of innovation in the public sector and coordination of the public work area; monitoring of the Government’s program and sector policies implementation status.

FpS handled the education regarding offline and online communication for technical staff and for the various operational departments.
